     Roses are beautiful, and they smell wonderful, but did you know that they taste good too? Well don’t rush to the garden and start munching now! to get the taste and plenty of vitamin C, you have to have to make a syrup from the rosehips.

A rosehip is a type of berry. It’s a swollen part that’s left behind when the petals fall off a flower. rosehip start out Green and hard but they ripen if you leave. When they're orange red and soft , they’re ready to pick

We decided to make our own rosehip syrup in class.

We collected rose hips from the bushes at school

After checking they hadn’t been sprayed! Then our teacher taught us a traditional recipe.

We washed half kilogram of rose hips and trimmed the ends.

The first thing that I like about the background is that they used was blue like there was a bumble bee and it’s like flying in the sky and it looks very pretty and it says it’s name so we know the name so we don’t get confused.
